For her Bat Mitzvah project, Charlie wanted to connect her love of theater and acting with her desire to educate about the Holocaust and combat antisemitism. She decided to write and, with the help of her parents, produce a play starring herself and three other young Jewish actresses her age.

With antisemitism on the rise, it felt more urgent than ever to share the stories of those who came before her, stories that must never be forgotten. Charlie's great-grandparents, Abram and Ester Dancygier, were both Holocaust survivors. Inspired by their resilience and determined to carry their voices forward, Charlie created Never Forget, a powerful stage production featuring her great-grandfather's story alongside scenes from The Diary of Anne Frank, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, and other works of Holocaust literature.

Since premiering in May 2025, Never Forget has been performed more than 15 times at theaters and synagogues across Los Angeles, raising over $5,000 for Holocaust Museum LA and other Holocaust education initiatives.

Charlie and the Never Forget cast and creative team are now committed to reaching a wider audience, bringing the show to more communities, larger platforms, and organizations around the country so that more people can witness these stories, engage with Holocaust education in a powerful new way, and take part in the essential act of remembrance.
