When my mother entered hospice on the afternoon of Kol Nidre, our family faced a profound intersection of grief and tradition. Despite his immense high holy days responsibilities, Rabbi Paul arrived at her bedside, without hesitation. He showed up when it mattered most and his presence reminded us that our faith lives both within and beyond the walls of the shul. Leading us in the Shema, he provided a quiet strength that carried us through our final goodbye. We are eternally grateful for our Rebbe, who ensures that even in our darkest moments, we never walk alone.
