Micah Strok
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
Micah Strok, a Sherman Oaks native, grew up deeply immersed in his Jewish community. With a mom who is both a rabbi and Jewish educator, Jewish life has always been central to his upbringing. Micah became bar mitzvah at Leo Baeck Temple and continued his involvement through Camp Alonim, NFTY SoCal, and later as a Hillel board member during college.
Micah attended Chapman University, where he earned a degree in Psychology and graduated from the Honors Program. During his time in college, he also served as the 3rd grade religious school teacher at Leo Baeck Temple for four years, nurturing his passion for education and community engagement.
Micah joined Congregation Or Ami in 2024 as an Executive Assistant and School Registrar. In his free time, Micah enjoys watching soccer (he’s a huge Arsenal fan), playing guitar and piano, and spending quality time with friends and family.
