Matthew Isaac

Matthew Isaac grew up in LVUSD schools and as a Bar Mitzvah at Congregation Or Ami. As a teen, he was an active participant in LoMPTY, NFTY, and the URJ Kutz Camp, where he found a warm, welcoming Jewish community and made lifelong friends.

Upon graduating from Agoura High School, Matthew moved to the Netherlands, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Organizations at Leiden University in 2024. He then worked with the Peace Corps in Guatemala, teaching important life skills lessons to youth in local schools. Living abroad exposed Matthew to different walks of life and the chance to see what Judaism means to Jews across the world.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and breaking in his new road bike. He is excited to be back at Or Ami and serve the community as Congregant/Community Liaison.
