We value small group learning as the primary way to foster Hebrew language learning and skills. Our 4th-6th grade students will be tutored in groups of 4-6 students each, arranged by skill level.
We value small group learning as the primary way to foster Hebrew language learning and skills. Our 4th-6th grade students will be tutored in groups of 4-6 students each, arranged by skill level (not by neighborhood or family social groupings). Sessions meet at the synagogue on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Our Mishpacha Hebrew Coordinator Michal Rozenberg-Yalovsky will assign and supervise Hebrew tutoring. Changes to meeting day, time or location must be made with approval of the tutor and Mishpacha Hebrew Coordinator. Individual tutoring is possible, with the additional cost borne by the family. 7th graders will meet with Diane Townsend approximately 12 months prior to their Bar/Bat Mitzvah service for a twelve session Pre-B’nai Mitzvah Prayer class.
